On Monday 28th November 2022 Perseverance Chapter No 455 held their installation evening at York Road in Kettering.

Front row from left: EComp Tony Albrecht (D.C.) EComp Steve Squires (ProvGSN) EComp Michael Coleman (Past DGS) EComp Neil Handley (DGS) EComp Michael Abbot (H) EComp Peter Robinson (MEZ) EComp Tony Landon (J) EComp John Payne (2nd PGP) EComp Steve Seward (ProvGDC) EComp Phil Litchfield (ADC)

It could be described as an evening and high and low’s, the “low” being that EComp Duncan Childs was due to be the Installing Principal for his longstanding friend, Companion & Brother, EComp Peter Robinson, but unfortunately was taken ill on the afternoon of the installation date.

The “high” came when past MEZ, EComp Sandy Cruickshank, stood in with just a few hours of notice to provide an exceptional and sincere installation and obligation for MEZ Elect, EComp Peter Robinson. Robes & Sceptres were presented by Active Provincial Officers, MEZ - EComp Peter Chown, H - EComp Steve Squires and J - EComp Nigel Dickens in fine style.

The Deputy Grand Superintendent, EComp Neil Handley wished everyone in the Chapter well and thanked them for a wonderful evening. In particular he sent his best wishes to EComp Duncan Childs for a speedy recovery.
