Pemberton Royal Arch Chapter No 3039 celebrated its Centenary Convocation at the Masonic Hall, Rushden on Thursday 9th February 2023. 

 

With over 100 Companions in attendance, MEZ of the Chapter E Comp Peter Smith welcomed the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Jim Boughton, who was well supported by his Executive, Grand Officers and Active Provincial Officers. 

E Comp Simon Harker and other Companions had combined to write a comprehensive history of the Chapter since its consecration in 1923 and at the end of the evening all in attendance were presented with a copy of the document, together with a Commemorative Tankard.

E Comp Mike Binsted, Provincial Grand Scribe E read the Centenary Charter, which was in turn presented by the Most Excellent Superintendent to E Comp Peter Smith, MEZ of the chapter. Companions were then encouraged to wear their centenary jewels.

At the Festive Board wine was taken with a number of distinguished Companions including the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Mark Constant and E Comp Barrie Hall, PProvPGM provided a heartfelt and sincere toast to the Three Principals, who in their response thanked all those attending and all of the companions who had worked tirelessly to make the evening a success.
