On Monday the 21st of December 2020, Richard Sandbach Lodge of Research No. 9600 will be holding the second in their series of Silver Jubilee lectures.

The lecture will be presented by WBro Dickon Sandbach PAGDC.

A summary is as follows:

Freemasonry is a system of morality that is taught through ritual dramas. At first glance it seems to be focused on the stonemasons’ trade, but it is much more complex than that. This talk, entitled ‘The Influences that Crafted Freemasonry’, is an introduction to the fascinating mixture of sources that came together and evolved into the modern system of Freemasonry. The rituals and lectures of modern Freemasonry were last rewritten two hundred years ago, and have stood the test of time.

The story is told by way of a journey along the course of the River Thames. You may need a map!

The lecture will be held on Zoom and is open to Masons and non-Masons alike. The meeting will open at 6.30pm and the lecture itself will start at 7pm prompt.
