On Sunday the 3rd December 2017, 400-people booed, hissed, yelled, laughed, screamed and cried during two performances of the latest pantomime from the Corby Masonic Players.

Snow White, written by WBro Jack C. Summerfield, was very well received by all who attended. It contained all the usual panto puns, plus a generous helping of local, topical and Masonic comedic content.

Entrance to the pantomime was free of charge. Corby Masonic Complex also donated selection boxes, which were gifted to the children in the audience.

The actors and helpers responsible for putting on the panto were all Freemasons, members of their family, or friends. Brethren taking part included WBro David Genner, WBro George Peel, WBro Ali Rae, WBro Rab Reid and WBro Jack C. Summerfield.

The Corby Masonic Players have been putting on Xmas pantomimes at the Corby Masonic Complex since 2006. In January 2017 they also held a special Tercentenary Panto to which they invited local communities and charities as part of the Corby Tercentenary events (click here to read more).

Each year a raffle is held to raise money for Teddies for Loving Care, a very worthwhile charity. This year's raffle raised a super sum of £365!
