On Thursday the 4th April 2019, Pomfret Lodge No 360 held the second of three events to celebrate their bicentenary: a Progeny Banner Parade.

Amongst the 150-brethren who attended this most enjoyable event were the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, and the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, WBro David Burton.

The following picture shows the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, the Master of Pomfret Lodge, WBro Mark Charteress, and representatives of the Progeny Lodges with their banners.

WBro Nigel Morley, Pomfret Lodge Historian, gave a very interesting and informative lecture on Pomfret Lodge's history.

WBro Nigel drew some very interesting comparisions and differences between Freemasonry in 1819 and 2019. He also explained the history behind many of the Lodge's artefacts.

The evening concluded with a very enjoyable and convivial Festive Board.
