The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, has been pleased to appoint WBro Tim Lucy PPSGW as a Group Officer for the Kettering & Thrapston group of lodges.

WBro Tim was initiated into Cytringan Lodge No 4048 in 1989 and, after progressing through the offices of the Lodge, served as Worshipful Master in 2001 and again in 2003.

Tim was subsequently appointed Director of Ceremonies of the Lodge in 2011, a position he held for 5 years. He also served as Preceptor of the Kettering United Lodge of Instruction from 2012 until 2017, a role he performed with distinction.

Tim was honoured with his first Provincial appointment in 2003, when he was made an acting Provincial Grand Steward.

This was followed by promotions to Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer in 2007, Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden in 2013, and most recently, Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 2019.

E Comp Tim was exalted into the Holy Royal Arch in 1994 when he became a member of St Crispin Chapter No. 5627. He was MEZ in 2009 and is now ADC. He holds the Provincial rank of PPGSwdB.

Tim was also recently appointed as lodge Almoner for the Palmer Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards No. 8995, and just to keep him out of mischief, Tim also represents the Province at the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
