Over the weekend of Friday the 20th to Sunday the 22nd of September 2019, Lodge of Prudence No. 8946 held its annual Ladies Festival weekend.

This year's President, WBro Joe Ramsden and his Lady, Sonia, selected the Hallmark Carlton Hotel, Bournemouth as their venue.

The event was attended by 60-guests comprising Lodge members, their guests and ladies.

At 10.30am on the Saturday morning, as its tradition, the Lodge held a meeting in a local Masonic centre.

On this occasion the venue was Freemasons' Hall, Boscombe, a wonderful traditional building with fine lodge-rooms and furnishings.

The Lodge members and their guests were joined by a number of local Masons who had received an open invitation to attend the meeting. All present enjoyed a demonstration of the Ceremony of Initiation.

Following the meeting, the brethren and their guests spent a super afternoon enjoying a very sunny Bournemouth. The evening's excellent social events started with a drinks reception followed by a fine banquet, music and dancing.

We are pleased to see the Lodge of Prudence members enjoying their Freemasonry to the fullest. May it long continue!
