On Monday the 21st of October 2019 at Sheaf Close, Northampton, the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, officially launched Festival Ale in the Province.
After pulling and sampling a pint, the PGM said:
This is very good. l hope that beer lovers will enjoy drinking it and be pleased that they are contributing to the Festival at the same time.
Festival Ale is available on draft and in 500ml bottles at the Northampton and Kettering Masonic centres. It is available at the Huntingdon, St Ives and Wellingborough centres in bottles only.
Bottles can also be supplied in boxes of 12 at a cost of £30 per box (£2.50 a bottle). Delivery is free, anywhere in the Province.
Why not organise a trip to Nobby’s Brewery and maybe think about raising some money for the Festival in the process?
Trips are £10 per person for the Silver Tour and £16 per person for the Gold Tour:
- Silver Tour - Hear the history, meet the brewer, learn some of the secrets of producing award winning ales and the importance of earning a brewer’s badge. Sample a variety of Nobby's craft and keg ales. Duration of the trip is about 1-hour.
- Gold Tour - Enjoy all the benefits of the Silver Tour plus a fish & chip supper from a local chippy which will be brought to the brewery where you can enjoy it with a variety of Nobby’s craft and keg ales. Duration of the trip is about 2-hours.
There must be between 10 and 30 visitors per trip. Third-party transport for visitors to/from the brewery is strongly recommended.
