On Sunday the 14th of July 2019, WBro Les Paul, a Past Master of Peterborough and Counties Lodge No. 2996, completed his fifth skydive for charity at Sibson Airfield.
This is possibly Les's last parachute jump because, in his own words, "the bones are getting rather fragile at 82-years of age”.
Starting with his first skydive at the age of 73, Les's jumps have raised a total of £4,230 thereby benefiting the following charities:
- Alzheimer’s Society
- East Anglia Air Ambulance
- Prostate Cancer Research
- British Heart Foundation
- Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF)
Les is rather shy about his exploits believing that it is perfectly natural for gentleman of his age to be jumping out of planes for good causes!
Les, you are a legend - well done indeed!
