On Sunday the 8th of December 2019, the Province’s Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols was again held at Peterborough Cathedral.

The Dean of Peterborough, the Very Reverend Christopher Dalliston, led the service. The Cathedral's choir gave an excellent performance throughout.

The Cathedral was filled with members from across the Province together with their friends and family members. A number of dignitaries were also in attendance.

Lessons were read by the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, as well as the heads of other Masonic orders from within the Province including the Grand Superintendent of the Holy Royal Arch, E Comp Jim Boughton, and the Provincial Grand Master for the Mark Degree, RWBro Bob Stokes.

The service concluded with the usual mince pies and glass of wine, and there was no doubt that all those in attendance left the Cathedral feeling that their Christmas was well and truly under way!
