Having been furloughed from work, Bro Philip Mason's wife, Katie, was looking for something to fill her time.

Bro Philip - a Corby Mason - works for Kettering General Hospital (KGH), so Katie knew the hospital was short of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Thanks to donations from Thistle & Rose Lodge No. 6644 and a group of Corby Masons and their partners who meet regularly at Corby Acacia Rooms for a social get-together each Friday night, Katie was able to start making much-needed scrubs for the hospital.

The first batch of scrubs was gratefully received by capacity-coordinator Jayne Chambers on Tuesday the 12th of May 2020.
