The Masters of Corby Lodges organised a 60s Dance Night on 9 June 2012 in aid of the Integrated Cancer Therapies, a local Corby Charity.
The band was Fynnius Fogg, having played together in the 60s, reformed a few years ago to play for charity. They play sixteen times a year for the enjoyment of it and do not charge. Bro Nigel Laing, a Corby Mason, provided chicken breast for the dinner and Bro Mike Walker, a local DJ, supported the band.
The initial hope was to raise £1,500 and to receive assistance from the Provincial Grand Charity. More than 250 tickets were sold and £3,400 raised. This was augmented by a Provincial Grand Charity donation of £2,100. Barclaycard also donated £750.
