Lodge of St James Delivers for Baby Unit

Whilst WBro Pummie Matharu was Worshipful Master of the Lodge of St James he decided to raise funds in aid of Gosset Ward, at Northampton General Hospital.

Gosset Ward was their chosen charity as both their daughters, who are now 19 and 21, were cared for on the ward. The girls Priah and Amrit were born prematurely weighing only 2Ib 7oz and 2Ib 15oz.

The Worshipful Master and his daughters presented the cheque for £1,100 to Wendy Copson and Dr Gupta and were very interested to see the incubator that will be replaced.  It is around 20 years old and it is likely that it was used for at least one of the girls.
