At their coffee morning on 4 April 2012, Northampton LAMs presented a cheque for £1,500 to Mrs Valerie Hamlin, representative for Northampton branch of Parkinson's UK.

The money was raised at various events during the last year and was the choice of Chairman, Mrs Caroline Rivett and endorsed by the Members.
The donation was made in memory of WBro Laurie Burrows, a former member of Pemberton Lodge. His widow, Mrs Joan Burrows presented the cheque on behalf of LAMs.
