Local Masons have helped keep the wheels of Daventry Area Community Transport (DACT) turning with a donation of £3,000.
Three Daventry based Lodges - Coritani, Danetre and Buckby Castle - each contributed £500 with the Provincial Grand Charity adding a further £1,500.
The cheque for £3,000 was presented to DACT's Chief Executive, Rob Kinning at Daventry Volunteer Centre on Tuesday 3 April 2012.

WBro Keith Hewitt of Danetre Lodge said, "We endeavour to make an annual donation to a local charity. DACT is well known throughout the area for the invaluable service that its staff and volunteers provide for those requiring transport for essential medical and personal needs, as well as social and community groups."
