A friend of WBro Nigel Onley of Graham Milton Lodge No 9796 (the late Ray Alderson) used to organise an annual Easter egg run from his shop in Finedon. The Easter Eggs were all donated by customers and local businesses.
After his death, his daughter asked if the initiative could be carried on in his memory. As the shop is no longer available as a collection point for the eggs, members of of Graham Milton Lodge agreed to carry on this event by having raffles and purchasing eggs.

On Sunday 1 April, members travelled from the Fordham Arms in Sharnbrook to the Brampton Halt, near Northampton and delivered over 250 Easter eggs to representatives from the NSPCC, Women's Aid and Nene Valley Refuge. It is hoped the Easter eggs will bring happiness to children in the care of these organisations.
