Members of Wilavestone Lodge No.9829 participated in the Wollaston Jubilee Celebrations on 5th June 2022, joining in with the celebrations for Her Majesty’s Platinum Anniversary, organised by the Wollaston Events Committee. This included the hosting of a stall at the 'Jubilee Picnic in the Park’ held at the Wollaston & Strixton Playing Field, in London Road, Wollaston.
The aim was to improve local awareness of Freemasonry in the area and in particular, the presence of the Wollaston based Lodge as part of the community.
The event was a great success and in addition to enjoying the Jubilee celebrations, it helped the Lodge to highlight to the local residents of Wollaston and the surrounding areas about Freemasonry, both locally and wider afield, and also the wide range of Charitable causes we support, including several Wollaston based groups.
There was also great interest in our Teddies for Loving Care Charity (TLC) and raffled a Teddy Bear with all proceeds to Wollaston local charitable causes.
