On the 5th March 2025 WBro Rob Taylor, (IPM and Charity Steward of Samuel Pepys Lodge) who is undergoing radiotherapy treatment for prostate cancer, presented the Cancer Wellbeing Service at Peterborough City Hospital a cheque for £310. The funds were raised at a raffle during his recent Ladies Festival.
The cheque was presented to Marianne Hill, a member of staff at the centre.
The Cancer Wellbeing Service is a local cancer care centre and offers free support services for anyone affected by cancer. Specialist staff are available to offer advice and a listening ear. There are also a wide range of support services available, including individual or group support and information sessions.
The Ladies Festival was a joint affair between Samuel Pepys Lodge 8330 and the United Services Lodge 10010 of Cambridgeshire where WBro Rob is IPM and was Worshipful Master of both Lodges at the same time.
