The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Mark Constant, joined fellow Freemasons at the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal stand at Waitrose, Peterborough, showing his personal support for this year’s campaign and the vital work of the RBL.
The visit formed part of a wider Provincial initiative, with Freemasons across Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire volunteering their time at collection points throughout the Province to help raise funds for veterans, serving personnel, and their families.
During his visit, the Provincial Grand Master expressed his gratitude to the Brethren who have dedicated their time to this important cause, and to the many members of the public who have supported the appeal through their donations.
“Freemasonry has a long and proud tradition of supporting the Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces community,” said RW Bro Constant. “It’s heartening to see our members across the Province continuing that legacy — giving their time to ensure every poppy makes a difference.”
The annual Poppy Appeal remains one of the most recognisable and important charitable campaigns in the UK, helping to provide essential support and services for those who have served and continue to serve their country.
Through their involvement, the Freemasons of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire once again demonstrated the values of charity, service, and remembrance that lie at the heart of Freemasonry.
