At their meeting on Wednesday 4th February, Thomas Deacon Lodge carried out a triple initiation for Bros Chukwuemeka Okeke, Chukwuemeka Ohanaka, and Ifeanyi Nwobu. All three had attended one of the lodge open days and decided to join a lodge together.
The ceremony was carried out with the assistance of the official visitor, W. Bro. Mick Warren, along with W. Bro. David Burton who both assisted the Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Michael Marjoram with the secrets of the degree and entrusting.
The Charge to the initiate was unusually given by three Brethren: an Entered Apprentice, Bro. Bradley Tooby; a FellowCraft, Bro. Joshua Readfern-Gray; and a Master Mason, Bro. Peter Grunow, all of whom performed the ritual flawlessly with great feeling.
The Initiates were all given the new Initiate Packs, which served as a warm introduction into Freemasonry.
