St Peters Chapter Installation

On Thursday February 19th, the St Peter's Lodge received The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, E.Comp Mark Constant on the occasion of his official visit, to witness the Chapter Installation. Accompanying the Grand Superintendent were the Deputy Grand Superintendent, E.Comp David Burton, and Past Deputy Grand Superintendent, E.Comp Neil Handley, plus several Officers of Supreme Grand Chapter and Provincial Grand Chapter.

The guests and Companions witnessed an excellent Installation Ceremony performed with Perfect Workings (the only Chapter in the Province to do so); E.Comp Keith Gill remained in the MEZ Chair, E.Comp Craig Bunday was Installed as H by E.Comp Andy Petrie, and he in turn Installed E.Comp Paul Passmore as J. The Grand Superintendent presented the address to the Principals and also, on a busy night, presented Supreme Grand Chapter Certificates to Companions Alisdair MacDonald and Brian Aird.

At the Festive Board, on replying to his toast, the Grand Superintendent talked about PSA Testing, the last of this round of testing being held in Corby on March 28th, urging Companions to take the test, and encouraging others to do so. He also continued the important message of 'One Journey, One Organisation', that it was a delight to see almost 50 Companions both in the Chapter and at the Festive Board, proving that Chapter is thriving, and we must approach our Craft Brethren who haven't yet taken the fourth step to be involved in these wonderful nights.
