One of the great strengths of the Royal Arch is the sense of companionship that exists not only within our own Chapters, but across the wider Province. At last night’s meeting of Buckby Castle Chapter they were delighted to welcome a number of visiting Companions, including a strong contingent from Piscator Chapter.
As the photograph shows, their visit helped create a wonderful atmosphere in the Chapter and served as a great reminder of the value of visiting. While many Brethren are accustomed to travelling and visiting within Craft Freemasonry, the same spirit of fellowship is equally rewarding in the Royal Arch.
The Royal Arch is regarded as the completion of a Mason’s journey in Pure Antient Masonry, and visiting other Chapters provides a fantastic opportunity to strengthen friendships, support fellow Companions and experience the ceremony in different surroundings.
Encouragingly, within the Province of Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire, visiting in the Royal Arch is very much alive and thriving. Long may that continue.
