The Province's newly appointed Active Officers gathered last night for the annual Active Officers Supper, an important event that marks the start of the Masonic year and prepares officers for the responsibilities ahead.
The evening brought together members of the Provincial Executive and the Provincial Directors of Ceremonies team, who provided guidance and practical advice on a wide range of topics. From booking attendance at meetings and understanding dress requirements to the protocols and standards expected when representing the Province, the session offered valuable insight for both first-time and experienced Active Officers alike.
A key message throughout the evening was the importance of visiting widely across the Province and supporting the Provincial Executive on their Official Visits. Officers were encouraged to make the most of the opportunities ahead, strengthening friendships, supporting lodges, and helping to promote the positive work taking place throughout Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire.
The briefing also provided an opportunity for officers to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of their role before the busy year of Provincial engagements begins.
Following the formal presentations, attendees enjoyed a relaxed supper together, allowing old friendships to be renewed and new connections to be formed ahead of what promises to be another successful year for the Province.
We wish all Active Officers every success and enjoyment in their appointments during the year ahead.
