At a packed “X Factor” style audition held at Corby Masonic Centre, on Saturday 29th October 2016, various brethren from across the Province demonstrated ritual with the hope that they would be selected to take part in the 2nd Degree ceremony to be held on the 25th March, 2017 in the Main Temple at Great Queen Street, London, to Pass Bro Luke Howard.

An Installation to remember at Dr Oliver Chapter in Peterborough
The Installation Convocation of Dr Oliver Chapter was held 25 October 2016. The official visitor was E Comp George Clayton, the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal who was escorted by Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, E Comp. Alex Henderson.
E Comp Tom Webster was installed as MEZ, E Comp Malcolm Pegg as Haggai and E Comp John Stones was inducted into the chair of Joshua. We give them our sincere best wishes for a very happy and successful year in office. The quality of the ritual throughout the evening was outstanding. The MEZ presented the IPZ, E Comp Paul Hoffmann with a Jewel to mark an exemplary year in office, during which he Exalted his father, Comp Bob Hoffmann.

St John's Chapter in Northampton enjoyed an excellent Installation meeting on Wednesday 19 October 2016 which marked by the official visit of E Comp George Clayton, the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal who was escorted by E Comp John Payne, Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.
E Comp Phil Martin was installed as MEZ by E Comp Richard Stokes in most exemplary manner, E Comp Geoff Allen was installed as Haggai and E Comp John Bennett was installed as Joshua.The quality of the ritual throughout the evening was very high.
We wish the newly installed Principals a very enjoyable year in their respective offices.

On Saturday 22 October 2016, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master VW Bro Trevor Boswell, had the privilege of attending a splendid fundraising event for the Northampton Punjabi Association at Freemasons' Hall in Northampton. During the course of the evening he had the great pleasure in presenting a cheque on behalf of the Northampton Punjabi Association to the Sikh Union and then he was quite delighted to receive a cheque for £500 towards Teddies for Loving Care.
The Deputy Provincial Grand Master commented. "The work by the Northampton Punjabi Association and the Sikh Union is to be commended they should also be congratulated as recipients of the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. It is a pleasure for us a Freemasons to be able to host their function and to be recipients of their charity work."
