St Crispin Chapter enjoyed an evening of “stand in’s” on the 24th of March. The official visitor was due to be MEGS however he became double booked when a provincial event had to be re-arranged. The Stand in official visitor was our Third Provincial Grand Principal Ecomp Del Pearson escorted EComp Mick Smith, Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies.
Covid had significantly reduced St Crispin Chapters members at the very last moment resulting in a Stand in Haggai, Stand in Joshua, Stand in ‘guest’ Scribe E, Stand in participants of the Mystical Lecture and Stand in Janitor.
Despite the last-minute shuffle, most importantly for the candidate, the Ceremony went incredibly smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
There was a small catering hiccup at the festive board when EComp Dr Chris Clarke’s pre ordered fish meal was missed, at one point it appeared he was having a “banquet for one”!
