The Province of Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire is currently funding over £25,000 per year to cover the cost and delivery of Teddies on behalf of TLC. As a result, every single donation is “thankfully received and faithfully applied”. WM of Towcestrian Lodge, WBro Paul Edis and his lady Karen selected TLC & The British Heart Foundation as their chosen charities for is year in the chair. After several festive board and a ladies night raffle, WBro Paul and Karen were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £1,000 to TLC Representative APGM WBro Francis Margot.

Northampton Freemason Gary Swailes was having an afternoon catch up with his sister-in-law when he mentioned “Teddies for Loving Care”. “TLC” as it is known, is a countrywide Masonic Charity who's sole purpose is to provide much needed comfort to children attending Accident & Emergency units, children's wards and other services by making sure that staff can give every child a teddy to help alleviate their distress.

At the Grand and Group Officers meeting held on Monday the 1st of September 2025 at Sheaf Close, Northampton, the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Mark Constant, was pleased to announce that the Provincial Grand Master of Bedfordshire, RWBro Nick Edwards, is to promote WBro Martin Wilson PAGDC to the rank of Deputy Provincial Grand Master.
