Following an MCF grant of £42k in February 2021, DeafBlind UK’s Director of Fundraising, Shirley Scotcher, sent the following feedback:
I just wanted to let you know what a difference the funding you gave us has made to those that need us this Christmas. The calls have been flooding in, especially since Omicron with so many feeling that fear of uncertainty again. And of course Christmas can be such a lonely time for so many, and the new year always seems to make people consider their lives and their value which can lead to very damaging self thoughts. [more]

Between March and May 2022, WBro Gerald Davies of Ceres Lodge No. 6977 is to embark on an unsupported solo walk from Land’s End to John o’ Groats to raise money for the 2024 MCF Festival.
At the December meeting of Grey Friars Lodge No. 4990, nearly 40-members and guests enjoyed a splendid evening during which they were pleased to receive informative presentations from two of the charities supported by the Lodge, Thomas's Fund and Bethany Homestead.
