Pemberton Chapter held a Zoom gathering on September 17th, the Provincial Grand Superintendent E Com. Jim Boughton commented that it was a very good evening with a mixture of business chatter and the usual frivolity.

On Wednesday 2nd September 2020 Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Royal Arch took on Warwickshire Royal Arch in the Annual golf competition for the Peter Kitson Trophy, the match this year took place at Coventry Golf Club.
15 northants golfers took on 18 warwickshire golfers in a stableford competition with the best 12 scores from each team counting towards the Trophy, Warwickshire came out on top with 392 points with 318 for Northants, Warwickshire winning back the Trophy won by Northants last year.
The Prize for the best score went to Warwickshire’s E Com. Paul Dudley 40 points Nearest the Pin on 7th northants E Com. Paul Seaton.
Nearest the Pin on 17th Warwickshire’s E Com. Paul Rowlands.
Longest Drive on 18th Northants E Com. David Jackson.
The golfers were seen off by Northants and Hunts Provincial Grand Superintendent E Com. Jim Boughton who was unable to play but gave his support to the day and Past Grand Superintendent E Com. Wayne Williams also lent his support.
After Dinner Warwickshire Captain E com. Gerry Logue Presented the winners with their prizes and Northants Captain E Com. Ray Lewis (second on left above) presented E Com. Gerry Logue with the Peter Kitson Trophy, congratulating Warwickshire on a resounding victory and thanking them for an enjoyable day even though the weather had not been too kind. He invited all present to the 2021 match to be held at Daventry.
The evening concluded with the presentation of a 50-year certificate by Warwickshire Provincial Second Grand Principal E Com. John Starley to E Com. John Durling.
This was followed an excellent Proclamation by Warwickshire Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies E.Com. Geoff Walker.
