It is with regret that we announce the retirement of WBro Richard Asher PPSGW from his post as one of the Peterborough group officers.
WBro Richard has served this role with distinction, and the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, would like to express his grateful thanks for all the hard work, time and dedication expended by Richard throughout.

It is with great sadness that we report the loss of Grey Friars Lodge member, WBro Alan Bailey PPJGW, who passed to the Grand Lodge Above on Saturday the 13th of February 2021 aged 77-years.
WBro Alan was initiated into Grey Friars Lodge No. 4990 on Monday the 24th April 1989. This was somewhat appropriate considering that, during his time as Master, Alan created the Lodge's first St. George's Day celebration, an event that has taken place at every April meeting since.
We are pleased to report that serving police officer Bro Ashley Burton of Grey Friars Lodge No 4990 (second from left in the photo below) has been awarded a Commendation for the action taken by him and a colleague to prevent a distressed woman from taking her own life by jumping from a bridge.
