On Thursday 22nd of November at Convocation of Pemberton Chapter 3039 at Rushden Masonic Hall there was a very special surprise event. The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, E.Comp Jim Boughton, was delighted to be able to present E.Comp Frank Brierley with a Diamond Jubilee Certificate for 60 years membership of the Royal Arch.
E.Comp Frank was Initiated into Craft Masonry (into King David Lodge No 479 EC) in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in August 1957 and he was Exalted into Royal Arch Masonry (the Msasa Chapter No 6802 EC) the following year - in September 1958.
Having re-settled in the United Kingdom E.Comp Frank joined Pemberton Chapter 3039 in 2003 becoming Z of that Chapter in 2008. The presentation of the Certificate was somewhat of a surprise for E.Comp Frank.
