On Saturday the 10th of December 2022, the Corby Masonic Players held their festive pantomime raising £360 for the MCF 2024 Festival.
This year's pantomime was the ever favourite Jack and the Beanstalk. There were two shows on the day and entrance was free of charge. An anonymous Corby Mason donated selection boxes which were gifted to the children in the audience.
The Panto was written by WBro Jack C. Summerfield and was very well received by all who attended. It contained all the usual panto puns plus a generous helping of local, topical and Masonic comedic content.
The actors and helpers responsible for putting on the panto were all Freemasons, members of their family, or friends. Brethren taking part included WBro William Diggins, WBro Steve Burton, WBro David Docherty, WBro Ian Lapsley, WBro George Peel, Bro Myles Tew and WBro Jack C. Summerfield.
There was a raffle during each show which raised £360 for the MCF 2024 Festival.
