Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association

On the 6th August 2023, The Cobble Stones Chapter `patched` their newest member, the Provincial Grand Master for Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire,
RWBro Mark Constant who received his “Cut” and road name `007` during a ceremony held at Sheaf Close, Northampton.

The Cobble Stones Chapter in Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire is one of 37 chapters of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association (WSMBA), which has over 1000 members in the UK.
It is not to be mistaken for the WSMRA which is an American organisation run by Non masons.

There are two types of members – full Widows Sons, who are Master Masons in good standing and `Clickers`, who are Non Masons or those below the rank of a Master Mason, who become Associate members.
Also `patched` that day was Katie Mason - pictured below with President Mick Vokes - who became an Associate Member or `Clicker`.

President Mick also explained:

`The main goals of the association are to introduce the pleasures of the world of motorcycling to our Masonic Brothers and raise money for charity along the way.
There is continuing support for our regular Masonic lodges through regular attendance and assisting with or attending lodge events.
Whilst wearing identifying regalia or patches, the Widows Sons are not a biker gang or club, but do wear the Square and Compass on our breasts, near to our hearts.
Most importantly, we are required to represent the fraternity in a positive light at all times`.

With Charity at the heart of the association, the Cobble Stones Chapter Vice President Mark Austin is pictured above presenting a donation cheque for £650 to the Provincial Grand Master for the benefit of the 3 Pillars Feeding The Homeless Charity.
