Palmer Stewards Lodge Host `The 1723 Constitutions` Play

The Palmer Lodge of Provincial Grand Lodge Stewards No.8995 regular meeting held at a packed York Road, Kettering Centre on Tuesday 24th October 2023, hosted a superb evening in recognition of the 300 year anniversary of the creation of the United Grand Lodge of England Constitutions and Ancient Charges in 1723.

The first part of the Labour of the Lodge involved 12 Palmer Officers, each reading an Ancient Charge, concluding with the Worshipful Master, RWBro Mark Constant bringing this whole section together in a most appropriate way with a few final words.

Then after the Lodge had been `called off` the audience of over 90 were enthralled by the Provincial Demonstration Team`s performance of `The 1723 Constitutions play`, delivered in a dramatic and authentic way, by the wonderful team of actors.
