18th January Ailwyn lodge in Ramsey held their annual Burns Night Supper, at the same time hosting a number of very distinguished brethren. The evening included the Passing of Brother Bro Colin Butler. Pictured left to right: the Candidate, Bro Colin Butler, RWBro Mark Constant – Provincial Grand Master for Northants & Hunts, VWBro John Prizeman – Pro Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons., WBro Stewart Robinson - WM, RWBro Max Bayes – Past Provincial Grand Master for Northants & Hunts and WBro David Sowerby - Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Degree Province of Northampton, Huntingdon & Bedford.
The festive board included the traditional Haggis Neeps & Taties, the haggis was piped in and addressed by WBro Alistair MacDonald. WBro Steven Teverson stood to provide an enthusiastic and impassioned ‘abbreviated’ story of the life of “Rabbie Burns”.
For those that haven’t visited Ailwyn in Ramsey, this really was a special evening, certainly worth put next January in your diary to attend.
