Our 2024 MCF Festival was launched in arctic conditions in March 2018 with a target of £2.024m. Who could have foreseen the adverse fundraising environments we were to experience before it concluded at the end of March 2024 - including the Covid epidemic, an economic downturn and soaring interest rates?
However, despite the difficulties, we managed to generate tremendous support for the Festival such as the Gala Ball held on 17 November 2023.
The total achieved was announced at Provincial Grand Lodge on 16 May 2024 by MCF Chief Executive, Les Hutchinson who heartily congratulated all concerned and announced the Festival result -

Responding to this announcement, the MCF President and Chairman, James Long said this marvellous Festival total was equivalent to an average of £828 per member - the fourth highest ever recorded.
As a token of thanks, he presented the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Mark Constant, with an engraved ship's decanter.
