It was a pleasure to see such a strong attendance at the most recent meeting of the Palmer Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards, held at York Road, Kettering.

In a fine display of carefully delivered and sincere ritual, the Lodge had the privilege of conducting a “double rising” ceremony for Bro John Godfrey of Spellhoe Lodge No. 8567 and Bro Chris Twarog of Fitzwilliam Lodge No. 2533. Both Lodges were well represented, turning out in strength to support their Fellow Crafts on this special occasion.
Leading from the front, the Worshipful Master, Jonathan Hibbins, was superbly supported by all those taking part. It was evident that a great deal of preparation and dedication had gone into ensuring the success of the double ceremony.

With both the current and immediate Past Provincial Grand Masters in attendance, alongside an impressive gathering of Past Provincial Grand Stewards, the evening was truly one to remember—made all the more special for Brothers John and Chris.
In a welcome break from tradition, a raffle was held during the Festive Board, raising over £400 in support of WBro Alex Thurlow, who will be running the London Marathon to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of his late father, WBro Richard Thurlow.

A memorable evening, and a wonderful occasion that brought together so many Past and Present Provincial Grand Stewards in true Masonic fellowship.
