At the most recent meeting of St Wilfrid Lodge No. 4453, W.Bro. Michael Warren presented Bro. Jonathan Waterworth, Bro. Kevin Calvert, and Bro. Richard Reynolds with Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their outstanding fundraising efforts for Maggie’s in Northampton.
The certificates were awarded following the team’s successful completion of a challenging 30km charity walk, undertaken to support the vital work Maggie’s provides to individuals and families affected by cancer. Also pictured during the presentation was W.Bro Matt Sands, the Worshipful Master of St Wilfrid Lodge.
Although Bro. Tom Webster was also a key member of the fundraising team, he was unavoidably absent from the meeting and will receive his certificate at a later date.
A Total That Continues to Grow
The team’s fundraising efforts have been met with exceptional generosity from Lodge members, visiting Lodges, colleagues, friends, and supporters. Their current total stands at £4,300, with donations still being received.
