This week at Socrates Lodge No 373, WBro Peter Stringer, PPSGD, was presented with a 50-year Golden Jubilee Certificate to mark the 50th anniversary of his Initiation into Freemasonry. The APGM, Francis Margôt, presented the certificate, accompanied by a short outline of Bro Peter’s service to others. Including nine years of service in the Army and a Chief Constable's Commendation for bravery in assisting to save the life of a police officer and a member of the public, dragging them both to safety in a traumatic incident.

A sincere thank you to everyone who attended and supported our recent Beyond Pure Antient Masonry event at Sheaf Close. It was a pleasure to see so many Brethren come together in the spirit of curiosity and fellowship, exploring the wide range of side orders and Masonic bodies that add such richness to our Craft.
