Great Support at OWs Meeting from Light Blues

The summer meeting of Old Wellingburian Lodge No. 5570 is always a well-attended event, but that held on Friday the 12th of July 2019 enjoyed additional support from fifteen 'Light Blue' members of the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire New & Young Masons Club (NHNYMC).

In addition to the 'Light Blues', a very special lodge-guest was present in the person of the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, who commented how important it was for us all "to look after our new and young members."

The Worshipful Master, WBro Stephen Wood, and his Old Wellingburian team welcomed Bro Michael Cantello into Freemasonry with a superb initiation followed by a wonderful summer festive-board to match!

Responding on behalf of the abundance of visitors to their toast, WBro Paul McGregor, NHNYMC Vice-Chairman, thanked the members of Old Wellingburian Lodge for their welcome and hospitality.

He explained that the Lodge had hosted the original launch-meeting of the Wellingborough Light Blues Club, so it was particularly fitting that they return.

The 'Light Blues Club' initiative has now been introduced at all nine group-centres across the Province.
