It is with much sadness to advise that WBro Mike Howells passsed to the Grand Lodge Above on 9th February 2023.
W.Bro Mike’s funeral will be held on Monday 13th March 2023 at 1.30pm St Andrew’s Church, 3pm service at Nene Valley Crematorium, Wellingborough, followed by refreshments at Little Billing Church. Family flowers only, donation in lieu to PCC of Billing and The Masonic Fishing Charity.
WBro Mike Howells 10/09/1954 to 9/02/2023
Mike Howells was initiated into Piscator Lodge No 7557 on March 19th 2010 and became a joining member of St Johns No 3972 on October 15th 2018. He was Master of Piscator in 2015 and then served as Secretary and as Treasurer before taking over as Secretary again.
He was Exalted into Abington Chapter No 8041 in 2011 and joined Piscator Chapter No 7557 in December 2014. He served as MEZ of Piscator Chapter in 2019 before becoming Treasuer in 2022. He was Hermes administrator for both Piscator and Abington Chapters. In Craft, he was invested as Provincial Senior Grand Deacon in May 2022 and he was to be invested as Provincial Grand Standard Bearer in the Royal Arch in June 2023.
He also served as a Local Communications Officer for the Northampton centre and was a valued member of the Communications committee.
Mike was a dedicated Mason who was committed and worked hard in all he did. He will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
