At the regular meeting held on the 16th May 2023 the Ferraria Lodge in Corby celebrated its golden jubilee. The last founding member WBro Barry Cole was on hand to deliver bespoke Mauls commissioned to celebrate the event into the save keeping of the WM and Wardens.
The Lodge was then opened and a superb 2nd degree ceremony took place passing Bro Kyle Rankin, after which a sumptuous festive board was held for over 70 members and guests.
The Secretary delivered interesting talk on the history of the formation of the Lodge, an idea developed equally by the 2 Lodges that were consecrated to satisfy the demand for masonry in Corby following the end of WW2, namely Thistle & Rose 6644 and Willowbrook 7439.
To polish off the night a birthday cake made by Katie Mason was enjoyed by all.
