The sun shone in a clear blue sky in Portsmouth on the morning of Saturday the 23rd of September 2023. This was welcomed by John Line (Grand Junction Lodge), David Crossley (Grey Friars Lodge) and their friends as they faced a high-level challenge - to abseil down the dockside Spinnaker Tower.

Daventry Golf Club, Daventry. 7th September 2023
With the sun shining on the fairways, golfers from all sides of the Province of Northamptonshire & Hunts enjoyed a wonderful day raising money for the Provincial Charity 2024 Festival. With special thanks to WBro Mike Caseman-Jones Ass PGM who gave encouragement and support to players on the ‘first tee’ plus our sponsors: Suburban Environmental Services, DR Roofing, Alex Thomson and Neil Sheppard and all golfers who walked the course in temperatures reaching 30c.

On Tuesday 12 September, Cytringan Chapter 4048 held their installation ceremony. Not only well supported by its members but also Active Provincial Officers supporting EComp Mike Binsted on his first official visit as Second Provincial Grand Principal. EComp Bob Lyman carried out an excellent installation of his successor EComp Peter Chown. EComp John Cummings was appointed as the Chapter’s Assistant Director of Ceremonies and was congratulated by EComp Jason Brice.

The Second Provincial Grand Principal provided an update from Province at the festive board including confirmation of this years PSA testing campaign which will be run again at the Northampton, Peterborough & Corby Centres.
It was a great start to an exciting season ahead of the companions.

On Friday 8th September 2023 Eleanor Cross Lodge performed the initiation ceremony of Mr Lewis Howard, son of WBro Barry Howard.
The lodge was privileged to welcome the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Mark Constant, as a personal guest, together with many Grand and active Provincial Officers and members of the Light Blues Club.
